Waste of money ... no, it's great fun. But you do need to persevere to get anywhere 'cos it just aint easy. And somewhere extensive in which to practice. And, even when you can ride it, remember that (almost) all your body weight is being taken on one point and that can get uncomfortable pretty quickly. That's what I mean about 'pain in the butt'. And, if you're a bloke, you have to remember to lift your pink bits up so you don't sit on them, as that hurts like &*^%$#@!
